Texas median home sales prices are continuing to increase in the third quarter of 2018. Compared to the same period last year, each increased 4.4% according to the Texas Quarterly Housing Report released by the Texas Association of REALTORS®.
The key statistics for the quarter include the following:
- 95,225 homes sold
- $235,000 median sales price
- 4.7% year-over-year increase in active listings
- Average of 52 days on the market.
According to Kaki Lybbert, chairman of the Texas Association of REALTORS®, “The strong economy, job growth, and quality of life in our great state keeps driving the demand for homeownership. At the current rate that home sales and active listings are increasing, we are trending towards another record-breaking year in Texas real estate.”
